HEART ER aim to be a first-class ambulance service provider. In providing this service we aim for the safe, reliable and comfortable transfer of all our patients.

We strive to give highly professional personalised care with special attention to the comfort of our patients and their families, while providing a professional service related to the dignity and preservation of human life.

We recognise that each patient has individual needs which comprise of the total person and we have the responsibility to assist patients with their healthcare needs.
We support a positive work environment.

 

HEART ER Ltd.,is committed to ensuring that all staff are trained to enable them to meet the requirements of their position. We recognise that, without proper learning and development opportunities, staff will not be able to meet the objectives of our mission statement. In addition, learning and development is required for a staff’s future development needs and for their future career. We provide training and development for staff in relation to our policies and procedures in line with best practice and in accordance with legislation and our governing body PHECC.

 

Our motto is to be on time for our patient at pick-up, on time at our patient appointment and our patients return.  This is one of our KPI’s.  We will wait with the patient while they are waiting for an appointment or an Outpatient Clinic and be there to take them back to their healthcare facility or hospital afterwards.

 

HEART ER Ltd., is a PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) registered Private Ambulance Provider.

Established in 2006 and an approved ambulance provider to the largest private health insurance company VHI since 2009. We are accredited by Joint Commission International since November 2013 and were successfully recredited until November 2019. To achieve this accreditation we have undergone External Quality Assurance Audits of our systems, procedures, policies and our staff.

Our fleet of ambulances are both modern and fully equipped to the highest standards. Our staff are highly experienced and well trained Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) we have a robust recruitment policy and all staff are Garda Vetted.

Our Disptatcher is trained to deal with all your transfer needs. They are fully trained to provide you with the appropriate staff to suit the patient’s needs to ensure the best possible care during transfer.
